Daily News दैनिक पञ्चाङ्ग
Today’s sky, read as news: the transits and what the texts say they bring, the festivals and vrata days, the hours worth taking — published every morning at true sunrise over Ujjain, computed by the same engines that run this site, with the source of every line.
Why it appears at a different time each day
The publishing instant is a computed sunrise, not a clock time. A Vedic day begins at sunrise, so a daily almanac that appeared at a fixed hour would be publishing a day that had not started. Sunrise over Ujjain moves through the year, and so does this column.
