What Horā keeps in your browser, and — just as important — what it deliberately does not run.

What Horā sets

• A session cookie, only if you sign in. Once you create an account or sign in, Horā sets a cookie holding a hashed session token, so you stay signed in between requests. Nothing else is written to it, and nothing is read from it if you never sign in.
• Your browser's own local storage, at your choice. Convenience features (for example, remembering your last-entered birth details in a form) may rely on your browser's own local storage on your device rather than a cookie. That data never leaves your device unless you submit the form; clearing your browser data removes it.

What Horā does not run

Horā runs no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts and no ad networks. There is no Google Analytics, no ad-tech pixel, and no cross-site tracking of any kind on this site. See the privacy policy for the full account of what is collected and why.

Third parties that see any data at all

• Open-Meteo — only the place name you type in a birth-place field, to resolve coordinates and a timezone. No cookie is involved.
• Razorpay — if you buy a Plus pass, your payment details go directly to Razorpay's own checkout; Horā never sees or stores your card, UPI or bank details, and only receives a confirmation that a specific order was paid.
• Render — our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs (request path, timestamp, IP address, user agent) as any web host does.

Your control

You can clear the session cookie and any local storage at any time from your browser's own settings — Horā will simply treat you as signed out. Deleting your account (see privacy policy) ends all active sessions on our side as well.
